Labs is establishing its research program. No completed studies, validated findings or external partnerships are claimed here.
Adaptive learning and evidence
Proposed research direction. How can a learning system explain why it recommends a prerequisite, a challenge or a review? Initial work will define evidence categories and test the clarity of those explanations.
A stable Knowledge Tree
Proposed research direction. How can a visual record grow without rearranging itself unpredictably? The design must support a nonvisual outline and distinguish interest from demonstrated competence.
Local AI and learner control
Proposed research direction. How can a learner use local inference without exposing a device or private files to the internet? Connector design and permission boundaries must be tested before release.
What a project record should contain
A question, method, version, observations, limitations and artifacts. A result that changes our understanding should lead to a documented revision, not a silently rewritten history.
From a question to a useful research note
Use this structure to document a small, safe investigation. Keep the prediction separate from what happened.
- Question: What specifically are you trying to understand?
- Context: Why does it matter, and what do existing sources say?
- Method: What will you compare, record and keep consistent?
- Observation: What happened, including unexpected results?
- Interpretation: Which explanations fit, and which remain possible?
- Limits: Where should someone avoid generalizing this result?
- Next step: What would help distinguish the remaining explanations?
How should I record sources?
Keep the title, author or organization, publication date, exact URL and date you accessed it. Record the section that supports your claim. Label a summary as a summary and distinguish your own interpretation from the source.
What if the result disagrees with my prediction?
Keep it. Check the method and note deviations before deciding what it means. A surprising result may suggest another question; it does not automatically prove a new explanation.
